About Us

Since its inception in 1995, MLW has maintained partnership with College of Medicine at the University of Malawi, the University of Liverpool through the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and our major funder the Wellcome Trust in order to achieve the following mission and vision:

To conduct biomedical research and also provide research training for clinical and laboratory scientists from Malawi and abroad

For MLW to be led by Malawian and international scientists inspiring the work of other scientists and their institutions throughout the World.
